Low code tool sets centered around agile methodologies and rapid Devops cycles have driven agility and productivity to the core of many business, supported by cloud based Identity and Access Management as the technology has matured. In many cases this has resulted in information overload. 

For the IDS future, there will be a rise in preemptive techniques such as access controls and digital fingerprint intercept via dedicated devices that utilise large scale intelligence services to identify network and communications risk before it happens - although the majority of these technologies still require significant capex expenditure to secure.
